Golden Gourami (Trichopodus trichopterus var.)

Golden Gouramis are a striking yellow variant of the Three-Spot Gourami. Their bold colour and hardy nature make them a favourite among aquarists.

Minimum Tank Requirements:

• Tank Size: 80 litres or more
• Temperature: 24-28°C
• pH: 6.0-7.5

Tankmates:
Best with peaceful tankmates like danios, tetras, and rasboras. Avoid aggressive or overly boisterous fish.

Diet:
Omnivorous. They eat flakes, pellets, freeze-dried bloodworms, and occasional live foods.

Care Tips:
Golden Gouramis can be territorial with their own kind, so provide plenty of hiding spaces if keeping multiple.
