Safety & Usage Guidelines
- Fixture Requirement: Must be installed in a heat-rated ceramic socket, such as the Reptile One Ceramic Heat Lamp Holder, to handle the bulb's thermal output safely.
- Installation Safety: Always ensure the electrical socket is turned off and the fixture has completely cooled down before installing or replacing the bulb.
- Supplementary Lighting: While this bulb supplies crucial heating and lifestyle UVA rays, it does not generate substantial UVB. It should be used alongside separate UVB sources, like Reptile One T8 Tubes or compact UVB lamps, to satisfy your reptile's D3 synthesis needs.
