Tyre Track Eels have a distinctive dark, maze-like pattern along their bodies, giving them a unique and striking appearance. They are nocturnal and love to hide during the day.

Tank Size: 300 litres or more
Temperature: 24-28°C
pH: 6.5-7.5
Tankmates: Suitable for larger peaceful fish such as bichirs, large tetras, and cichlids. Avoid aggressive tank mates.
Diet: Carnivorous. Enjoys live or frozen foods such as worms, shrimp, and feeder fish.
Care Tips: They require a fine sand substrate to burrow into and a well-covered tank to prevent escapes. Provide driftwood and caves for hiding.
